    Danny Aguirre

    Blue Waters Development Group LLC

    Danny Aguirre is a co-founder of Blue Waters Development Group (“BWDG”). Mr. Aguirre has worked in the Property Management and Real Estate industry for over 20 years and served as Manager and Regional Manager for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Developers Diversified Realty (DDR) & Starwood Property Trust (STWD). All three are NYSE listed companies with large, nationwide portfolios. During this time, he managed and leased several Real Estate portfolio’s totaling +20 million sq. ft. and created and managed annual budgets that exceeded well over $100 million. The work was diverse and he acquired great experience in various sectors that included Hospitality, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Medical, Retail and Mall assets. Mr. Aguirre also served as a Project Manager and Quality Control Manager for multiple developments for Alliance Residential, Mill Creek Residential, Greystar and Trammel Crow.   Mr. Aguirre also created and sold multiple business ventures including Centina Building Services, Live Shared, Cali Biz and The Hair Color Experts.

    Jessica Turner

    Partnership Manager, Collaboratory

    Hello! My name is Jessica Turner. I work at Collaboratory in Ft. Myers, FL. I am the Partnership Manager for the Southwest Florida Home Coalition. The Coalition is a cross-sector, collective impact group that is united around our shared goal to ensure that people in Southwest Florida have access to housing and transportation that costs less than 45% of their income by 2040. I am excited to be a part of ULI to learn more about ways that we can increase the availability of safe and stable homes that fit into all people's budgets.

    Kristine Smale

    VP of Strategic Growth, Christopher Alan Homes

    Kristine is an experienced Residential and Commercial Real Estate professional. She is a Senior Vice President with Meyers Research and leads consulting projects throughout the Southeast and Florida. Prior to joining Meyers in 2019, Kristine managed projects with another national consulting firm for several years. Kristine also worked for two large home builders providing feasibility guidance for land acquisitions and community development. Her experience in commercial real estate includes asset management, due diligence and acquisitions with a large Real Estate Investment Trust, a 1031 exchange company and a publicly traded apartment REIT. Kristine has a BBA from the University of Iowa with majors in Finance and Marketing and a minor in English. She also earned a certificate in Urban Real Estate from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Kristine is currently the Chair of the ULI Community Housing and Development Council in Florida, as well as a member of the Southwest Florida Executive Committee and former chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative. She is also a member of the RNDC-Gold National Product Council. Kristine serves on the Local Planning Agency for Lee County, Florida, a resident advisory board that works with the Board of County Commissioners.

    Dave Farmer

    David H. Farmer is a Developer, Licensed Real Estate Broker, Certified Planner, Civil Engineer, State Certified General Contractor and Department of Environmental Protection Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector. Dave is the managing principal of Keystone Development Advisors, LLC as well as founder and editor of FloridaDevelopmentNews.com. Dave has been active in the South Florida real estate development industry since 1989. Committed to serve the community, Dave was appointed by the Governor to the Big Cypress Basin Board of the South Florida Water Management District and also serves on the Code Review and Design Board for the City of LaBelle, the Collier County Rural Land Stewardship Area Review Committee (RLSA), the Horizon Study Master Plan Committee for Golden Gate Estates, the Golden Gate Utility Advisory Board for the Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA) and has served on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Southwest Florida District Council since 2003. He managed the acquisition, entitlement and development of property for Keystone Companies from 2000-2008 before starting KDA in 2008. Early in 2009 Dave recognized a need for a consolidated source of news, information and updates on changes in Florida law that affect land use and land development professionals in the State of Florida. In July of 2009 Dave launched the Florida Land Development newsletter as well as FloridaDevelopmentNews.com to provide a single source of pertinent new information. Many consultants are very specialized and only focus on one aspect of the development process (i.e., finance, construction or acquisition of specific permits). Dave has been actively involved in all aspects of the processes for many of his projects from the creative and financial inception, land and permit acquisition, to development completion.
