Downtown Fort Myers is quickly being transformed by a surge of mixed-use and redevelopment projects, two hot topics in today’s planning environment.  Join ULI for an exclusive tour of the vibrant and functional River District which integrates residences and businesses in a revitalized historic environment.

A hors d’oeuvres and networking session featuring Linda Doggett, Elected Clerk at Lee County Clerk of Courts, will kick off the event followed by a trolley ride and walking tour.  Destinations will include the historic Florida Repertory Theatre, the Ft. Myers River Basin and the Patio De Leon building, an example of mixed-use urban living.  Highlighted speakers are Sara Garner, Development Director at Florida Repertory Theatre, Tessa LaSage, MPA, LEED AP BD+C, of the South Florida Community Foundation and a representative from Meta Group LLC, which is a driving force in green urbanism development in Southwest Florida.
